Ibanez FZ7. Loud, gnarly & can go from gated octave madness to smooth with the 'damage' switch.

Sounds very interesting. I'd like to try one of those. Isn't that one similar to the Univox super fuzz?

Good call re: Scramblers. Ge Fuzzrites too.

My pick is the Interfax HP-1 Harmonic Percolator
They do have somewhat of a culty following due to Steve Albini but I rarely see them (or their contemporary descendants) on boards.

sorry chank, i'll bet it's killer.... i've not been disappointed by any menatone that i've had.... not $400 killer like the one on ebay tho.....

Don't know if there are any similarities in the circuit but it has the over the top, crazy fuzz factor.

Yeah, I've had my eye on that one. He dropped the price back down. I think it's at $250 now. Still too much for me.
