Fuzz of the decade

Post by stella_blues »

So we’re heading into a new decade, the last ten years have been a golden decade for fuzz....what’s your favourite fuzz from the last ten years?

For me? There can be only one :trippn:

Well the Sola MKII has to be up there surely

I’m also going Fleshy  when Dave agreed to build these it blew my tiny mind :headpop:

If you held a gun to my head and made me choose only one it would be the DF

Of the fuzzes that came out in the last decade, my longest tenured would probably be the Skreddy Hybrid Fuzz Driver. BJFE Sparkle Face would probably be the runner-up.

It’s been a fantastic decade for Fuzz. The most striking thing about today compared to 10 years ago is how much more readily available everything is. Back then if you wanted a decent mk1 or Buzzaround, you could pretty much forget it. So cheers to all the builders for spreading the joy

Never had the chance to try a Flesh, but the thought of that Dark Flesh has bewitched me since I first saw it. For me it is the Pigdog Sola MkI. That whole project was just mind-blowing.
