Envelope filters

Post by stella_blues »

Can anyone recommend a decent envelope filter/auto wah for use with guitar? Not looking to burst the bank ,something cheapish and not too complicated.

Also do they play well with fuzz pedals?

Thanks

Mojo Hand Analogue filter 442...I’m selling it by the way, because I’m not using it.
It’s a clone of the famous Dod 440

it’s not suuuper cheap but the fredric jackdaw is an auto wah with complimentary fuzz built in. it’s a little more complicated than the dod/mxr/guyatone but it’s bloody good fun

Did you had chance compare these with Seamoon Funk Machine (V1 or V2) ?

Listened to some demos with the Mojo Hand, I thought it sounded quite thin, others like the Mu-Tron and MXR have a more vocal quality to them. Quite liking the MXR and Mu-Tron mini so far :hmm:
