My mistake, it is PayPal credit. I think they are trying to phase PayPal out in favor of Reverb payments.Darth Sabbathi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 2:05 pm Wait, what? They're not taking PayPal anymore? I saw the fee increase, but didn't see that. I'm no fan of PayPal, but it is currently my only option for selling on Reverb... I can't set up Reverb Payments in my country. Are they offering some alternative?

I think you can pay with PayPal but not be paid with PayPal.
The last item I listed I was required to give bank info as they would no longer allow me to accept PayPal direct

I think the move away from allowing sellers to use PayPal is US-only.Darth Sabbathi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 2:05 pm Wait, what? They're not taking PayPal anymore? It hasn't affected me in Australia.

That's good to know. I have not sold anything in a while on Reverb so I am not able to comment on the payout as of yet.Birds in Hell wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 11:03 pmI think the move away from allowing sellers to use PayPal is US-only.Darth Sabbathi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 2:05 pm Wait, what? Reverb payments is goofy. Yes, you can still use PayPal to buy things but then as a seller you're stuck with their wonky reverb payment system. The fee increase comes as no surprise. That's just the world we're living in now. I haven't used Ebay in a while because I got tired of their insanely high sellers fees but maybe it's time to give them a shot again.

Re: Reverb Fees Increase
I use both. Tbh I’m regularly buying, selling.
eBay still works for me. They are greedy fuckers but like today I’ve had a sell for 2% of final fee.
It works.
My gripe for me with reverb is not only taking the hit with fees as well as PayPal but I then have to pay PayPal the exchange rate price.
By the time you take it all off it doesn’t look as nice as you’d hoped. It leads people to over price the products to cover fees

I have not used eBay in a long time either to sell gear. The double hit from all of them is what I hate most about any of the sales sites. First, the sales platform takes their cut then PayPal gets a cut too. If you are dealing with currency conversion it gets even worse.redeyeflight wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 5:09 am Reverb payments is goofy.
