RIP Peter Green

Really sad news. This guy wrote some of my favourite songs and his singing and guitar playing was the best.

Amazing singer, songwriter and a monster guitarist. Glad I got to see him live. R.I.P

In general I'm not a big fan of blues , but for me he's definitely an exception, I could listen to him all day .....absolutely stunning player. Says he died peacefully in his sleep, which is the silver lining to a very dark cloud. RIP

At one time in the 60s, when this original legend played at a small club in my hometown, a friend of mine, in the paus, touched Peter's guitarstrings to see how soft they were - and instead found out, surprisingly, that they were very hard tightend.

RIP mr Green! I'm glad that I had a chance to see you live years ago.
Great guitarist and player of the blues!

RIP Peter, he had a touch and soul that no other guitarist from the 60s blues explosion possessed.

One of the greatest for sure. A huge loss.
