One one hand, I think it's great to see fuzz prices returning to some normality. A bubble font in good condition at $400AU seems to be approaching the norm. I'm seeing other stuff going for at least 40% less than this time last year. This in turn means that being more affordable to musicians, they'll be used and abused not case queens. This is a good moment.
Having said that, there is a part of me that feels for some as they are potentially suffering from COVID-19 related financial issues. It's upsetting and from MY ISLAND, a very safe place in comparison to the US, Britain and Europe and to see friends I've made and met going through these terrible times.
The result is finally some semblance of normality returning to the fuzz world. Unfortunately at the cost of some really cool people who just wanted a damn good fuzz pedal to drool over.
Just my 2c
Have the fucking lunatics left the asylum?
