Re: Love of fuzz vs Money
Even though I've been playing for 30 years I only really got into and discovered how much I love fuzz in the last 18 months . Seemed like there was a lot of options when I first started looking on the 2nd hand market that were within the relms of (my) affordability when came to DAM, EFE, Pigdog... I guess I'm talking the sub £350 ish range. Since then ( and it's not like we're talking a long time ! ) price's seem to have gone crazy .....doubled... even tripled ! I regret not grabbing more pedals to try at the time , the majority are well out of my scope now

Re: Love of fuzz vs Money
I really wouldn’t pay more than a few hundred now.
Ltd edition, various colours, transistors that don’t really sound much better than the more common types.
The prices I’m seeing on the used market really are messed up.
2 of my favourite fuzz pedals have been no more than £200
I’ve enjoyed the variation I’ve had over the years but you can still get new at great prices

5G? That's a bargain. The Mott Street Mauler guy has one listed for 6750

He has my old MeatHead listed for 1,250 on Reverb. I am going to have to look through my old sales receipts and see who I sold it to originally.
