Re: Affordable Fuzz
I’ve a few from Charlie pedals. His mk1.5 I own is one of the best fuzz pedals I’ve played
Creepy fingers
Brads take on a zonk is my current favourite
Just bought a MK1 from Seeker effects too. It’s currently with my pal Rob but he’s demoed it to me and it sounds flipping amazeballs
Yep I don’t think Stus raised his prices since the noughties.
Surely one of the very few who is responsible for bringing the yesteryear fuzz back from the dead

I wasn't familiar with Charlie Pedals or Seeker Effects - both look great. UK builders are of particular interest.Doc Holliday wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 9:27 am I’ve a few from Charlie pedals. His mk1.5 I own is one of the best fuzz pedals I’ve played

Re: Affordable Fuzz
I have a bunch of mki's, some that broke the bank and some more affordable, one of the best sounding and most FUN is the Thunderbird mki,
I think it was 350€ new so great value for price...and its a beautiful box too !
Lo-fi mind effects makes killer stuff too, have a zonk, mkii, mki and Os mutantes/trem by him, all really good . I think he mostly uses salvaged stuff from
radios and so on (at least he did before).
Edit:
I forgot BfA, Blunt force audio (ex mr morphine), just got a zonk from Robert that is "off the charts" good, and very fairly priced !:)

Re: Affordable Fuzz
My favourite fuzz pedals recently have all been well under the £300 mark.....have got a bunch of pedals from Blue Colander all of which are superb and my favourites (FFAF and Doppel) were both around or under £150.......if push came to shove I could cover all my base's with those two. Have also just got into Stonefly Effects ( Grizzly Fuzz is incredible) and while not so instantly available are also a really decent price if you get on his lists and by from him direct

Re: Affordable Fuzz
Thanks for the recs. Added them with links up top.
Super keen to try some of their stuff. I'm after a Rangemaster and think I'm gonna pick up a PIG.1976@metal wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 2:44 pm have got a bunch of pedals from Blue Colander all of which are superb and my favourites (FFAF and Doppel) were both around or under £150.......if push came to shove I could cover all my base's with those two.
