It is a bit misleading on the Macaris website, as that model Tone Bender is listed in the, "Stock Items" section (no waitlist) but when you try to buy one the website indicates that there is a waitlist for that item. If anything it should be moved to reflect current stock. There are three models listed as in-stock when in fact they are not.

Still available at Macari's for 1/3 of the price
It's on a wait list at Macari's. I didn't wanna wait. :-)

I honestly don't have time to hang out and source a lot of this stuff. I'm willing to pay a premium to guys like Dylan (SoCal) who do it for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He's providing a value-added service for me. I do go by Macari's periodically and if something's in stock, I'll buy direct from them. I bought three Dope Priests direct from Dave recently because they were available and hey, I'd rather buy them direct from him when I can. There's a secondary market for anything that's produced in limited quantities.

If you can get them for less, buy them. I see an awful lot of Klons that start out at ridiculously high prices on Reverb and then start dropping as they don't sell...

And you can get better fuzz from Dave, Steve, or Stu for about half that. (not to mention quite a few others)

when I first saw their pedals, I just thought their graphics were/are really naff, didn't take them seriously at all -don't really understand that they have become a thing!
Handmade, high-impact, great-looking radical queer germanium fuzz. A different approach to 1960s-inspired fuzz pedals, no clones, check them out at https://goodfuzzysounds.com or on YouTube https://tinyurl.com/GFS-YT

Just count your blessings that these people aren't interested in the pedals that we all are :tu:
