It was perfect. I really regretted selling it but had to raise cash quick for a Travis Bean.
Let me assure y'all of 2 things.
1. I am not a session guitarist but if some dick wants to pay me to play what some may call music(al) stuff then I'm in.
2. I am as handy and skilled with a soldering iron as I am at pole vaulting. Needless to say you could attack me with 1000 different electric transistory things in the eyeball and the only thing I could say with confidence is that the sharp things fucking hurt

Reverb don’t care, they just want the moolah

It’s so bizarre that I’m actually thinking this guy is on the wind up, either that or he really is a total fuckwit lol

It’s been taken down then he sent me another message

Hi Hailey,
Thanks for reaching out. My position is that the pedal was shipped 100% in mint condition and functioning in perfect order. The pedal in question is made by one of the top 5 builders in the world and at the time of shipping was 4 months old with about 1 hrs of use. Due to the nature of the pedal, the circumstances and the fact that it was made from the highest quality components available, I will not accept a return. The pedal contains vintage components that are sought after by builders all over the world and I am aware of occasions where these components have been removed and swapped out for lesser quality and value components. That is the first reason why I will not accept a return. Secondly, I checked the pedal prior to packing and it was functioning properly as it should be. I suspect that Mr XXXXX has buyers remorse or may not like the product. Either way these are not grounds for me to issue a refund.
Thirdly, I have been presented with no evidence that the pedal is defective in any way. If evidence to the contrary were to be presented I would still not issue a refund based on the grounds that the pedal has obviously been tampered with in some way. I fail to see or acknowledge Mr XXXXX'S assessment that the input jack is in someway faulty due to the high quality barrel jacks utilized in the build, and the fact that each pedal is rigorously tested to the standard of the maker whose reputation is beyond reproach, and the fact that I tested the pedal prior to packing.
The pedal was packed to the highest standards, including shock proof bubble wrap and double boxing.
If Mr XXXXX is now having problems with the pedal since tampering with it then I can only suggest he send it to Mr Stuart Castledine (the manufacturer of the pedal) to rectify the problem (if any) that Mr XXXXX has created. He would also be able to identify if any components have been swapped out and where damage has occurred.
If you look at my history you can see that I have issued refunds before, even for buyers remorse however due to the rarity of the components and the pedal, and the duration that the pedal has been in Mr XXXXX's possession, I will not be accepting any returns in this case.

Kindest regards
Dave

Hey there Dave,

I appreciate your response and those details.

However, Reverb ultimately can't protect your funds in this transaction since PayPal was the payment processor used.

I am working to get this resolved directly with your customer directly to avoid a PayPal dispute, and I'll be in touch once I have any updates.

Thanks again - I appreciate the patience.
