is there ANY PLACE IN THE USA i can buy a latching on/off switch to replace the crapped out one in my old-ass cpu speakers? only ones i keep coming across ship from overseas.

that's what i have been doing for the past half hour or so, on and off lol

and i did find that same one i think would work. but it doesn't have the two outside solder tabs. do i need them is the question. ground or just to help hold it in place?

half tempted to wire up a mini toggle switch and wire it off board, mounting it out the back of the speaker housing

The outside tabs are grounded, yes, but they're mostly there for structural reasons. As long as you arent button mashing i wouldnt worry too much about it.

anyone recommend a good pickups rewinder/rebuilder?

want to hack up black rick and stick two EGC humbucker pickups in it (as pictured) but at the same time kind of feel bad for routing out an original 1984 rickenbacker.
guitar is a player. not mint at all. and the router job would be done with the greatest attention to detail. because my ocd is weapons-grade

would love something aggressive and bright.
the stock pickups drop in from the top and secure from the back, like the travis bean and egc pickups do.
ideally i'd send whoever does the work the stock pickups to use as a template or to just explode and rebuild.

i'm torn.

any/all suggestions welcome!
