Re: Fuzzy Bass
I no longer own a supercollider. Next to each other, it was no contest for me. The Supercollider is a bit more versatile, but the Ram Head feels alive.jetofuj wrote:^ Do you like Ram Head more than Supercollider?

Re: Fuzzy Bass
^ I've seen your demo of standard Meathead and it seems to handle low end quite well. Dark version should be even better, but I'm not really convinced by one knob design. As it is voiced for guitar, it may not be the best idea for bass.

Re: Fuzzy Bass
I was rockin the Meathead deluxe on Bass last night & its ace! I set the attack to about 2 O'Clock, volume on full & then played around with the filter knob. All the way to the left gives a really punky clang & all the way to the right gives a saturated sludge tone. Loads of great sounds in between too.

Re: Fuzzy Bass
I've just tried my new Sonic Titan with a P Bass (drop C# tuning), Sunn Beta Bass and Ampeg 412: sooo wonderful! I think it's one of the best od/dist for a bass (together with the Blackstone Mosfet Od). Great sustain and attack, massive low end, sparkling highs...
Now, it's time to sell my Fulltone Bassdrive...
