I'd like to know what the blooze mod is exactly -- both what does it change in the circuit as well as in the sound...john-pw wrote:Is there anybody who would like to try this blues mod?
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

I'll try it out

I've never tried a normal one so I cannot compare them.
Asking to the captain he told me that the circuits change for some resistances.
The blues mod has got a different eq and a limited color!
I would like to exchange mine with a normal one..

Re: Sonic Titan Blues Mod
I found the Blues Mod to have a more focused Mid range than standard & a touch more gain. The standard version is more open sounding which I prefer. I have yet to try a 'Dark'.

You're right. I was comparing with my old 2005 Titan. The newer 'standard' ones have a hair more gain than the 'blues'.john-pw wrote:Asking around I heard that the blues mod has got less gain...

Curious how this blues mod is different than the first run Titans?

Re: Sonic Titan Blues Mod
I don't really know what differences there are in the circuit or Pot values except the very early ones didn't have the internal trimpot.
Sonically I found the Blues gave more gain with knobs at 12 O'clock but both pedals were very similar with the gain maxxed. The 2005 model definitely has a more open tone & better bass response while the Blues gives a tighter midrange punch. I spent a bit of time dialling both in to get the same sound at unity gain & the knobs were all set at very different positions to achieve this.
