Little boxes are nice to save space, but overall I prefer bigger ones. It's nice to not have everything crammed into such a small space. I really hate some pedals that are really small where you end up hitting knobs when you go to stomp the switch. I think the number of knobs, circuit size and layout, etc should dictate box size. One knob Meatheads are perfect in the small boxes, but something like a Ram Head or Meathead Deluxe is better suited to the big boxes IMHO. But I wouldn't turn any one of them down based on the size of the case

Me too apparently. I like the smaller boxes for practicality. The big ones are rad but they would only be for recording (unless it was something too good to not be on the board, haha).
