Blue Meanie vs Low Pro: Shortboard MK II's!

Post by redeyeflight »

Decided to do a little shootout of the DAM/Sola shortboard "blue meanie" MK II and the Pigdog Low Pro shortboard MK II
They both come packing OC-75s. Tests were done with a 1979 hardtail strat through a Emery Sound head packing a KT-66 into a homemade 1X10 cab and a dash of Jerms built fender reverb unit added in for good measure. Mic was a Blue red large diaphragm directly in to protools no editing, etc.

Love me some pigdogs, but the blue meanie wins this one. More low mids and bigger sounding. Very similar though.
