Wow, guys! So many different fuzz pedals. I had never heard of most of them that have been mentioned here, but where I live, fuzz pedals aren't too common.
I like fuzz that produces nasty, crazy, amp-fixin-to-blow chaos.

Rygar wrote:Yeah try a Mongoose out, you'll either love it or hate it. I love it. Your description of dirt at max and max treble is spot on, though it can be tamed with your guitar. It makes me play fast, quick power chord riffs - then I start playing like spastic thrash metal solos. The brash treble just jumps right out. I like that it dictates what you play. It makes me bang my head. And it's a fucking purple UFO!
So a pre gain control could work nice. Cheers.

The Acetone is another I'd love to try.

Elka Dizzy Tone. I discovered it a couple of month ago and it quickly became one of my most favourite fuzzboxes. Massive, evil, with big bottom end. Anyways, I haven't seen one of them (or a clone) in a pedalboard before.

Fender Blender also; I'd really love if someone could make a modern take of if.

Ronsound are still doing V1 and V2 Blenders (I have a V1 and it's ace). Or do you mean something more than a clone?

Nah, I just grabbed those photos from his website. The Chimp Blender he built for innerflight and I don't know who the other one belongs to.

Ah, yes. The Fender Blender. That was the first distortion pedal of any kind I ever saw. It was when I was first starting to play guitar. I met this guy and he had one, along with a strat and some kind of fender amp. It's been so long ago that I can't remember exactly how it sounded, but I DO remember it had plenty of sustain.
