I have an old Vox wah that I’m going to put up for sale but I could use some help with the age and value. I believe its a 69-70 model based on the components such as the trash can inductor and Arco caps.
To my understanding its all original but feel free to point out any odditys. Its got the old ICAR pot that works fine after I sprayed some cleaner in there.
The one thing that does look a bit wierd is the two transistors that is not of the same type. But when googling for gut shots of old trash can wahs I have seen other examples of this so perhaps its all good, what do you say?
I have put new bumpers in there as the old ones were missing when I got it, as they always to.
I put a new switch felt in as well.
I also replaced the feet with new ones from Area51. Three original ones plus one odd one is included as well.
Does any one of you have any advice regarding age, if it looks all original and what would be a fair asking price?
Help me value this wah

Re: Help me value this wah
Judging by the serial I’d say 69.
Taking into account it’s a V846 and the way of the world atm I think between £300-£450
Although wahs have gone up in price like most vintage equipment these V846’s are still readily available on the used market.
Imo
