The vintage units all differ in one way of another but I'd say as a general summing up of things (based in information known thus far) this 1965 is closer to the later dry letter transfer model, which had a slightly decreased output cap, therefore has a bit more midrange cut and shove, which I prefer. More punchy than muddy on the lower end of the spectrum."
