Oh dang! I see you as private on insta. You had me at decentralized. That's a breath of fresh air. had no clue this existed. How's the relevant "fuzzocracy" and the likes over there?

I'm since two years on mastodon (decentralized twitter alternative) and that got me into pixelfed. Mastodon really evolved to a nice platform with a lot of local contacts for me. Really dig it.

I personally don't care about follower numbers. For now all the hashtags (#fuzz #ilovefuzz etc.) are not alive yet. But someone has to start. So I start with my little gear story - partly for me as a kind of "when did I buy what"-thing but also with the hope of interaction with other fuzzers someday...
It hurts to leave instagram. I started there 09/2011 and had a lot of contact with fellow fuzzers. Also bought a lot of stuff via instagram. But for me it's not worth it anymore.

With all the crazy shit going on (see this https://mastodon.scot/@moh_kohn/113862223905970536 ) I'm really into controlling my social profiles and accounts from now on.

But alas, we still have this beautiful place in the interwebz called dam-forum
