Nice guitar sound! What is in your 1966? Are you using Super Bee mode? I ask because I play a strat through at 1966 through a Marshall-like amp but get a more stinging, nasal sound. Yours sounds more low mid than my 1966.

Thanks, Sickle. It's good to know what that sounds like!
Those OC78s sound as unique as my OC81 1966, but these have very distinct mid-ranges from each other.

I could've identified that as the the '66 without even a clue.
So distinctive and you use it well.
It's actually a good sounding rehearsal recording,
as I can clearly hear all the instruments.
Sounds a bit like "The Lemon Song."

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but did David sometimes use different transistors for some of the 66/super bees, or
has he stayed with the same components in all of them?
