D*A*M Sonic Titan, Super Bee, B&G Meathead + special guests

Post by Lorenzo »

Hey everyone, I don't write very much here. But I'm a big fan of DAM pedals.
I recently bought some pedals so I made a clip featuring some of them plus a loaner.
I also played couple of non-Dam pedals that may interest some of you.
The pedals played in order are:
Sonic Titan, Super Bee, black and gold Meathead, Creepy Fingers Doomidrive and Sonic VI Champion Fuzz.
The clip is really long. There is a lot of shitty playing and tuning so be patient.

Signal is:
Gibson Les Paul Standard > Pedals > Orange Overdrive > two Orange PA 4x12 cabs (Celestion G12T100) > voice mic on one speaker > Macbook > Garageband

Titan = 0:26 ; Super B = 2:34 ; Meathead = 8:28 ; Doomi = 11:08 ; Champ = 11:40

Nice Lorenzo! Building up a very nice fuzz board on a killer rig!!! Maybe put timetable saying when the pedal kicks in.. it's easier to jump around the clip.. ;)
Too bad you won't have your fuzzsound back!! mwahahah

It's better for you to give it back or I'll have to have someone esle get it back for me.

I'd like to say that the Super Bee sounded different than the last days. Much more gain that caused a bit of overload. Probably due to temperature change :hmm:
Anyway backing off a little the guitar volume helped.

Nice clip. Thanks for giving the onset times of each pedal. I enjoy hearing all those D.A.M. pedals one after another like that!

Thanks. I wanted to give back to the forum after taking so much :hihi:

By the way most of the fuzz quantity changes are made via guitar volume. Including on the Meathead that has a cool "clean up" in my opinion.
The Super Bee part is really long but I think you can hear many of the different possibilities.

I'll make a Fuzz Sound clip when I get it back.

Good tones. Super B and Meathead were my faves. A little disappointed with the Doomidrive tho, sounded kind of thin compared to the Meat.

I had very little gain coming from the amp and quite some dialed on the pedal. The "overdrive" of the Doomidrive is bright. It needs more gain on the amp to really shine in my opinion.
Unless you keep the drive knob very low which makes it a clean boost. I'll make a better clip with it and my "new" Creepyface which is SUPERMEGACOOL.
