This one popped up relatively locally, and I couldn't resist.
It's feather light, and sounds wicked. More Rickenbacker growl than PBass thump.
The finish is all messed up, which is apparently common for these. The original stereo electronics are long gone, which again is common.
But it's a fantastic bass with an interesting history, they were related to Hayman and the body designs remind me of Wal to some extent.
Very cool! The Bubinga wood tended to swell and crack the finish on these.
