Rooster to push a fuzz or distortion using clean amp
Hi noobie on D.A.M. from Sydney Australia.
I am looking at a DAM Red Rooster as a treble boost but want to run my VOX AC15HW1 Clean as I do not have loop for delay, reverb, modulation etc.
I want to be able to use delay and modulation with dirt without sounding like crap.
I already have a Skreddy Pink Flesh and a Fulltone Plimsoul and was wondering if anyone had experience with using the Red Rooster to push other pedals rather than an overdriven amp?
I am also looking at using the Rooster to push a drag n fly into sear land.
Anyone had any experience with this approach.Especially with a VOX ?
Cheers
Ian

You can also run a wet/dry rig to get the delay after the dirt -- Suhr makes a cool little box that goes between amp and speaker and run the out to a power amp into speakers. That way you get your amp distortion before delay.
Dear Bongo, No.
Good deals with all these guys

With a VOX AC15HW1,Single speaker, how would my signal chain be set up to incorporate the Iso Line-Out box.
How would I separate my dry (EQ,Boost, distortion, overdrive chain) from my wet (Modulation,Delay & Reverb chain) ?
Will I need a separate speaker cab to split a wet signal to the external cab and the dry to the amp speaker.
Getting confused as to how a wet effects loop post power amp and a dry effects loop into front of amp using this device.
Would I need an ABY to split signals ?
Has anyone got any simple signal chain layout and connections diagram to set this up ?
Cheers Ian
