We went through a few screenings before we were happy with the finished product but hopefully we've done your hard work justice .

We decided to go for a different look than the original 90's reissue here. I put a lot of work into a nice and clean Colorsound logo, so I used that of course. The text bits are very similar to the Power Boost/Overdriver, for that classic Colorsound vibe. And then I thought the pedal that really NEEDED the "HIT IT!" pointer was this one
Everything is transitional.

What´s the difference to the "stock" Colorsound Fuzz Box?

Well . . . this is how the pedal began so it's a recreation of Dick's version One .
Over the years colorsound pedals always evolve especially as Jake is always modifying things . He's always sending me prototypes - some that get off the ground and others that don't - a great example is the hybrid Yellow Tone Bender that is just killer and would never have come about without Jakes tinkering - I have six different versions of this pedal in the shop right now .
So our current stock Fuzz Box is a redesign that sounds pretty much like the first one but is cheaper to produce and is incredibly efficient and reliable - also , depending on the mood , they turn out with preset wheels inside to control the boost when you kick your fuzz in .
BUT
This new one is totally true to the first design so if we ever get into a stock situation , fingers crossed , it will appear in the vintage style bit of the range and Jakes one will appear in the standard section . .
I think we just have a fantastic thing going at the moment with David , Linzi and Stu working on the classics and Jake bending the rules , not letting us stand still - its really is a pleasure to work with such great fuzzy people !
So back to the Fuzz Box
I would suggest one of each sir . . . . . .just to be sure !
Will be in tomorrow to sort through your mail
cheers

You can also recognize them by the "Hit it" arrow, which seems to be new on this new version.
