All hail the Supa Santa! More remainders from storage. Planned as the germanium sibling to the Dope Priest XD, the Lucifer Rising XD - Supa Satan Edition. These enclosures were screen printed with the initial run of the newer Priests but were never manifest as any kind of production concept. There are six* of these in total, and that's all there will ever be. The first and the last. Dig it.
The construction is as the Dope Priest XD. Clean, purposeful and failsafe.
The circuit tuning is a further expansion of a few choice themes from certain Sola Sound builds from this past year, namely the Bro'Zillian and the Yellow Zeppelin MKIV's.
With the vintage style Sola builds I aim to keep the approach within a certain pocket, that being, that they shouldn't stray too far from the original feel and behaviour of the origins. This incarnation of the Lucifer Rising is just a little further down the left-hand path.
It's simply explained with one word - expansion. Expanded EQ and output capabilities. A broader tonal sweep from bass to treble, with an overall stronger midrange backbone that pushes the sonic boundary from fearsome to formidable.
The gain characteristics are at a maximum but most certainly in vintage realms regarding delivery. Those early supa-alpha feels are there, that almost MKI-esc break-up, the intensely bloated saturation and that thick primal distortion.
The LR-7X blends wondrously with vacuum tube overdrive and effortlessly handles spicier environmental temperatures.
Transistor amplification is supplied by a duo of NOS Mullard OC82D driving a single Texas Instruments 2G3XX series device. All vintage components used are cleaned, tested and inspected prior to circuit set-up and installation. No radio pulls or out-of-date Electrolytic capacitors are ever used.

Brass tacks
This is a pre-order only available via the D*A*M direct page (the link is in my signature below) The project has an estimated lead time of 6-8 weeks, so delivery will approximately be within the first few weeks of February 2022. This is a very small batch build and a one time happening so this project is priced accordingly.
* all enclosures are finished in an Admiral Grey hammertone paint with the exception of one unit, which is finished in Pillar Box Red.
