Re: Dark Flesh
Dark Flesh #4 has arrived
Played for hour or so with my little Swart amp at home... holy shit! No wonder these don`t make any appearance in buy and sell section.
Started with control in the middle like Captain advises and slowly went for brighter side on the dial. Very very pleasing sir yes indeed... sounds like amazing MkII should. Even the brightest side of the control was very pleasing, not too bright at all and found my self staying there quite some time...
Then I snapped out and went for the dark side and ou yes this thing brings out the monster inside. Liquid is the word, like I can feel the acid on my tong. Lots of more body in sound. Great with both of the pickups and stays clear not boomy at all. This sounds just fucking lovely, sustain as much as you need and I`m sure my neighbor got quite enough of me bending just two strings
Turning guitar volume down brings gives beautiful overdrive sounds that I really loved (probably played most of time with gt volume down little bit). Flesh don`t clear out completely with guitar volume, at least with my small testing amp.
There`s definitely lots and lots of sounds to have with this pedal. And yes it`s a life long keeper for me too

Great to see you're enjoying it, it's def one of the best fuzz boxes I've ever had the pleasure of tryingToro Mutanto wrote:Dark Flesh #4 has arrived
I think the Flesh is a bit schizo, it's a tonebender at heart, but pair it with a Strat and it'll put your favourite fuzz face to shame, riding the volume control produces so many flavours, from near crystal clean through various OD tones to sonic destruction
