Love that Charlie Mk 1.5 Matt! How does your Goldie sound compared to the Charlie? Are they similar in sound/texture?

The Charlie definitely has more gain, and skewed a bit more on the higher side of the spectrum. The clean up on the Charlie was not as crisp as the sola, the Charlie def had some gain still - which is how I ordered it (looking for early impex based). It's almost like the frequency range is 40k to 7000k on the Charlie and the Goldie is 30k to 5000k. A little bit more low mids on the Goldie. The metal can OC83 transistors can take a bit more heat as well!

Thanks Matt! Yeah, I'm loving the Charlie. I mostly play a CS Nocaster or CS '55 Strat and the Charlie really shines with single coils. Thanks again!

I must disagree Cody. Dave wound up ripping me off on a deal for the NKT 210 version of this pedal. There's now a whole thread on this site about other peoples' transactions with Dave Lizmi; apparently I'm not the only person he's ripped off.

As to the pedal, it's just as great as every other Pigdog pedal I've ever played.
