Ram Head
Iv'e been trying to buy a Rams Head for a couple of years without any luck.I was on the wait list at vintage guitars only to be told earlier in the year that Dave was no longer selling through dealers. So I found the website entered the forum and saw Dave was compiling waiting lists.I thought it would only be a matter of time before a list would be opened for the Rams Head. I was horrified to see that its now been discontinued. I dont understand why as these pedals go as quickly as they are listed on ebay.Does anyone else want one of these pedals?Does anyone have one to sell or any idea how I can get one.I'm interested in the coloured finishes as opposed to the hammerite ones.Someone please help a new member

Re: Ram Head
They pop up on E-bay time to time. and also TGP forum as well.
they are not cheap.. around $450 - all way up to $650ish??
I do not think anyone here is selling one... but post a thread on the BUY AND SELL section.. you might get lucky.
Good Luck.
((to you and me both, I am looking for one now for the third time...))

That is a bugger. There is a lot of that in the USA at the moment..Sickle wrote:I have one I might be forced to sell if circumstances don't improve at work, but I'm holding off as long as I can on that.

Of all the disturbing images I've seen on, or as a direct result of, this forum, this one is by far the most disturbing

Re: Ram Head
In simple terms, because Dave believes he will have a better quality of life if he makes another pedal instead. That is, he probably got tired of making the Ram Head and wanted to spend more time making the Fuzzaround or planning the next pedal. No use continuing to make the Ram Head if you can have more fun making something else. We don't mind as we enjoy buying the next new pedals he brings out :-)gear_freak wrote:Does anyone know why these pedals were discontinued? Thanks!

Thanks mrpicard! I am a newcomer to DAM pedals and when I saw the Ram Head, I knew I missed out on a good one. I just thought the parts for that particular one could have dried up or something. Thanks for your reply!

Re: Ram Head
That's OK, and welcome :-) The learning experience is that there have been some pretty good products in the past but Dave always comes up with something even better to replace them :-)gear_freak wrote:Thanks for your reply!
