Kevin's review is spot-on, as far as I'm concerned.

I'll just add that all of it's settings work really well and clarity on chords is amazing.
Cuts right thru the mix...

FANTASTIC Fuzz Sound, Dave Main!

Special thanks to Donovan, for making this possible.

Lemeno where it's going next and we'll get her on the road again...

Thanks

Hi everyone!

I am well known for throwing out serious hyperbole! Mostly because when I'm excited about some new pedal I am usually overcome with stoked-ness! My friend Sickle gives me shit about this "Chris has a new flavor of the week" and I suppose... rightfully so.

Having said that, I got the Fuzz Sound tour box today.

HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know pedals. I'm a 40 year old guitar freak that has owned almost everything known to man at one time or another. I have been playing since I was 6 and while I have never been a "shredder" or a guitar hero I will stand firm on the fact that if I was thrown in to a studio as a tone Guy I could create some crazy shit with these two ears and a few choice pedals.

With that, my opinion is that the Fuzz Sound is a masterpiece created by a Guy that in a 100 years will be studied and revered as one of the greatest pedal builder to ever live. I have been messing with this GIGANTIC beast non stop all day and I am truly blown away. Right out of the box with everything dead center *BOOM* perfect gritty fuzz goodness. The sustain is epic the tone control is very dynamic. My Strat loved this pedal, my Les Paul ate it alive.

I'll do a demo very soon but only when I feel I have captured this monster in an effective way.

I am in love.

Sickle....fire away.

-Chris

So true, I found it to be great right at center also, would love to see a "light" version someday like the two knob Park.

Hey Chris,
I'd hoped to get it to you by Saturday the 4th, but it being a holiday, took an extra day.
Glad you're diggin' it...unfriggin-real, huh?

*every* setting seems to work perfectly...but i generally used it most
with it set about like Kevin's pic above...

Cannot wait til my number comes up...

The Fuzz Sound has been here for a few days and like other D*A*M's it proves that Dave has magical ears. It's going to be hard to say good bye to this portly beast. :cthulhu2:

:headbanger: that thing's a killer, eh Cado?

looking back over Kevin's insightful review of the Fuzz Sound,
I've cherry picked some key phrases that really describe it well...

•"very sax like"...

•"has a woody, throaty kind of quality and almost seems to breathe"...

•"a sustain control that starts out with a low gain fuzzface level of fuzz that stays pretty round all the way up to a ripping tone bender snarl that's fully saturated and can get really cutting depending on the tone setting."

•"The tone control on the Fuzz Sound is really usable all the way around depending on what you want to do."

• "smooth and throaty and more focused in the lower midrange than other tone bender type pedals but if you dig in it really barks like a good MKII"

•"one thing that makes this pedal different from all the vintage style pedals I've used is the way it retains low end and keeps this tight lower mid thing..."

Yes!..clarity is thee word on this Fuzz Sound...no flabby ass here...perfect definition.

•"huge in every way"... pretty much says it all.

Yes P.D., it is killer! KB's review was so complete there wasn't much that I could add.
I don't know how long your drive to the Pope's is JP, but I can guarantee it will be worth it.

Everything that is great about various Tone Benders is present in the Fuzz Sound.

WTF?! The Pope is giving a Fuzz audience?? :popesickle:

Consider that thousands will come from all over the globe - including me from Germany...

D. should open his own waitlist. Then we come over, get a D*A*M tattoo and he drops us a few chords through the MKIII!
