Standard OC75, High Gain AC124, Low Gain OC71
I need more . . . one with OC81 or OC82
I am not even a tonebender fan. . . I don't even own an original.
But what can I say . . . Dave Main knows the gremenium, the way I like'm.

Mmmm, you may want to go here D*A*M Pedal Descriptions and see photos of different transistors in the MKII...

Re: I need more MK2s. . .
I think that every one here should try MK2 at least once... . also . . should try out Meathead.
I love GE FUZZs . . . I want the 1966 with SFT tranny added to my collection.
but Mr G's right . . . I should get more silicon based Fuzzs to even these out.
It would be a nightmare if I were to collect all the pedals with different trannys that are shown in mrpicard's pedal discription pages... may be I will find me a OC82d MK2 one day, since OC81D tranny ones are really rare.
I am so grad that someone noticed the beauty of these hamma'tone finishes.
I love the way they look.
each pedal sounds different, and these different hammertone finishes can actually provide the descriptions to what they basically sounds like.
Low Gain = smooth
High Gain = little rough but warm(hot).
standard OC75 = bit brighter than the others, texture is between other two.
( (I got to learn how to upload the pictures here. . . ):hmm: )

Re: I need more MK2s. . .
Well we do need some basic Ge MkIII & IV Tonebenders as well as the later silicon versions and I'll gladly add my name to a petition for some DAM Supa or Jumbo Tonebender fuzzes - Dave !! Thats four (six if you count the silicon mk3&4) versions of Sola made Tonebenders you have yet to do runs of - surely a decent Sola MkIII silicon or a CS Jumbo TB would be well received and greatly complement the existing product history / range.. PLUS: needing BC183L or whatever silicons to power them you shouldn't have such hassle sourcing the trannies as with the Ge versions!!JP30 wrote:Super or JUMBO, perhaps?mrpicard wrote:I definitely agree with that.JP30 wrote:I should get more silicon based Fuzzs to even these out.

I would like to make a suggestion that just like with the DAM Tees, for a while we run a questionaire to identify which of a given range of famous fuzzes the membership would go for - maybe it could be weighted so you could give 9 for a Mk1 or Zonk and 5 for a Jumbo TB I am sure most of us could predict the result given the list names but it could be a useful tool to give a little coherent feedback to our Captain!! What do you think Dave?? --- would it be hard Donovan??

Made one month after David "went into business". Anybody got one with a lower production number?
Still my favorite fuzz. And I've owned a truckload of fuzzboxes.
And no, it is not for sale.
