With so many builds over the years for these especially, it's hard to keep track. :freakout:

In fact, I'm going to get to work digging thru old threads to flesh it out a bit. This outline/timeline helps so much.
Wow man! You've already completely fleshed that out! Awesome work

if your list is not limited to Pigdog/D*A*M productions, there was also the Yellow Hybrid TC tonebender, built by Jake Rothman, with one OC145 ( reverse polarity OC75) and 2 silicon transistors
Oh yeah! There's another one...

Personally, I consider the TC Tone Bender as separate to the MkIVs, but it could definitely be an inclusion

I wouldn't have even bothered to try had you not already outlined almost everything. I didn't realize just how much there was to dig thru the Sola Sound subforum vault. As I said, it's all there basically, it's just really nice to have it compiled in one place. Thanks for putting it all together!

The Purple People Eater rules! Every time I play it I believe there's some magical sum of its parts thing living inside there.
I definitely have ears influenced by eyes too, I always knew a Purple Tone Bender would appear and it was perfectly realized. (And wasn't sold out!!)

Since there isn't a shot of the innards of a Kawasaki Green MkIV shown on this thread yet. . . . .
Here's #024, signed by the Captain May 14, 2021. I was playing the snot out of this one for a couple of months, then got my FS-77, so it's getting a rest while I put the FS-77 through the paces.
A savage little beast.

Bit of an enigma here, this one is nicknamed "Fruit Salad" maybe? Based on an IG tag. Not a lot of info available besides what appears to be a limiting resistor trimmer on the side similar to Devil's Lettuce and colorful pink appointments including pink LED.

Nice! Does the side knob adjust bias?

From what I understand, there's a limiting resistor that drops the volume to more manageable levels in the original design. This value is commonly tweaked or completely removed to increase available volume. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I like to learn)

Dave Main explains on "The Devil's Lettuce" -

"The side mounted control is kinda like a gain control. It basically takes the limiting resistor out of circuit as it is increased, fully closed you are in vintage mode, wide open and you're dropping napalm bombs dosed on LSD. It's sunshine fun times."

Has this one had a mention on the forum? Just grabbed one....

Kawasaki V2 - 3x STC transistors, OC82D GJ (diode)
Based off Dave's 1974 silver batman

Ant's take: "What does it sound like ? just like the V1 - this is the sound of freedom - its like one of those huge stage fans has been turned on as soon as you hit a chord - its fat - its super agressive - it sizzles - it has an outrageous tone sweep ! And that's before you start cleaning up !!!

With your guitar backed off to 7 you start experiencing some real MKII style goodness - stunning clean up - even more so when you back your fuzz back to half . All the way back and its like a 60s gagare band has just rocked up and are rehearsing in the . . . . . . . garage!"

Dig that colorway!

The latest couple of 1of1 (same circuits but the other in the TSS case) that Ant listed today. Happy to say this one is mine! (Alll mine muhahaha etc)
