Differences between Head Buzz, Maggot Brain, Fuzzy Haskins and Owlsey?

Except for transistor choices are there any general differences in tuning, vibe etc?

The bc-108 head buzz and the bc-108 maggot brain are essentially the same pedal. The head buzz had slightly mote sizzle at full blast in my experience but that could just be down to having slightly different part selection?
