1966 was my first DAM pedal.

All I had was reissued VOX tonebenders which was too rasp and bright... just sounded BAD to me.
then, I got 1966 ! it has perfect blend of Smoothness and bright raspy fuzz.

I really did not pay too much attention to the SUPER BEE mode back then, but I am really getting attached to the sound of it now.

:badlove: SUPER BEE

Actually it look like SUPER BOO by the way it printed. :headbanger:
(I wish the captain added another "B" at the end....)

:?: . . .. .. . :hihi:

OC76 is nice and smooth . SFT 's got a hint of spitty/gritty feel to it.
depends on my settup, the difference between them are very subtle.

they are both my kinds of TITS

I wish I knew... it just make the sound/fuzz bigger...
it looks to me that the wires from the the switch goes back to the board to bypass one of the register
.. . or something.. ...
may be the captain will reveal the secret someday.

may bee a flux capacitor?? .

"Super Bee"" with this switch setting the circuitry is running into a larger value output capacitor. This gives the '66 a fuller range bass response, more sustain and a healthier output level. If you want the 60's fuzzy rasp but with more volume just run the '66 in "Super Bee" mode but with the level control backed off some.
I dig Super Bee mode myself. My 1966 is a hard act to beat, but if any pedal's gonna do it, its gonna be another D*A*M.
:trippn: :trippn: :trippn:

:badteeth: I knew that I ve seem the info on the Super bee circuit...
:hihi: just couldn't / didn't remember...

I don't know if Super bee mode for everyone,
but I fell in love with it after a few hours of playing with them.
I was really into two Gremenium circuited fuzz at the time.

. .. I love BOOBS . .. super boobees
(no, I am not drunk, I just had too much coffee :hyper: )
