My MkII with green-jacket OC82D’s arrived today. I spent about half an hour playing it, and it’s fantastic. The hammer finish looks pretty special, too.

Wow. Totally loving that one with the Green Jackets. How'd you score it?

Can’t find the like button :hihi:

Awesome score there, I’m sure it’ll sound as good as it looks.

I’ve found the green jackets in a MKII have a more clear “hifi” sound compared with the denser grittier OC75 builds.

My name came up on the waiting list. I honestly can’t remember when I got on the list, but it’s been at least a couple of years, I think. Super lucky to have this one.

I know what you mean about OC75’s. I haven’t had a Sola or DAM mkII with those in it, but I’ve experimented with them when building my own clones of the circuit, and I briefly had a Montgomery Appliances Supa Bender years ago that had OC75’s. They sound great. I’d like another Sola with those in it, but that would be greedy. This one has a lot of sustain and harmonics and cleans up nicely, which is exactly what i wanted, so I’m happy.

I don't think of myself as greedy, more needy...like needing one of them all! :badteeth:

For me, the silver case with the OC84s that was in the first run scratched my itch. I was really hoping to get the green version at some point but I am not sure that will ever happen. Nice to see some pics of yours, it's really great looking.
