This pedal was one of two prototype 808 style overdrives Dave did for research for a D*A*M overdrive back around 05 and then was dug up and readied for sale in 08 hence the dual dated inscription. This and it's kin the PRO-808 were sold as ebay auctions in early 08 as I recall. It's basically a TS808 with added gain and extended low end. How's it sound? Like a hot tube screamer with a little more bottom OK, a really fucking good and hot tubescreamer with a nice ass Oh, and the finish was kind of experimental too, I remember being drawn to this one by the label on the box! I wish I had a copy of the ebay listing, it was pretty funny too.
