Yes, FLower Travellin' Band are excellent.
Love, Devotion, Surrender-John McLaughlin and Carlos Santna
Has any one else heard this gem? It is superb, I was skeptical if these two virtuoso's styles would go well together but after giving it a few listens I am really digging it.

Sigur Ros - Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust
Less sad than the rest, not any more awesome. Great band. Too bad they've now gone so popular they play huge festivals in the open air instead of small old theatres where people cry when they start playing Svefn-g-Englar.

CONAN - Krull
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

Right now I'm listening to the newest Toffee Sunday Smash podcast.
Not often fuzzy, but always mind-bending.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
i just found a print-out from the 2003 auction i won my Vox Tone Bender MKII Professional...
It came from a 'car boot' in Portsmouth...:geek:
so i just tried looking up groups from that area c.1966...
i'm sure there were more, but the only one that i could find was Simon Dupree and the Big Sound. (Portsmouth/Gosport)
(Anybody know of any other groups from the Portsmouth area, c.64-68?)
Kind of a Psychedelic Pop group...check out We Are The Moles (parts 1 & 2), 1968... by their alter-ego name, The Moles! ...ha! (could it be a Tone Bender on there? sounds like it to me...lots of fuzz on that one....apparently Syd Barrett was a friend of theirs and came to rehearsals & Top Of The Pops around that time Ray Shulman would've been the guitarist on there, i believe...

I think there is some relation to Gentle Giant who were active from about 1970-80...

If you dig Flower Travellin, check out "Eve" by SPEED, SHINKI and GLUE. Awesome Japanese proto-metal. Weirdly, they were all well over 6 ft tall (this is Japan remember, avg male height 5'7") and just about every tune is about dope too. Crazy bastards!!!
Volume over talent

right now I'm listening to Wo Fat on their myspace page. Never heard them before but all I can say is hell yeah. Badass stoner/doom do recommend for any fans. Killer tones and the vocals are cool too.
