Fuzz Sound going to the studio this evening
Soft Speaker won a contest through a music website for four hours of studio time at Gallery of Carpet Recording: http://www.galleryofcarpet.com/
Basically, we get to record two tracks live (no overdubs) and mix them. They asked us to bring in one original and one cover. I'm taking in my Basic Audio Halo-Ranger and my new D*A*M Fuzz Sound MKIII. We're doing a fuzzed-up version of Buddy Holly's "Maybe Baby" for our cover. Should be interesting. I'll get back to you guys tomorrow or maybe late tonight with the results.

Re: Fuzz Sound going to the studio this evening
Hey Guys,
The session was a total success! I'm really excited about these tracks. The studio was super badass with tons of outboard analog gear, real plate reverb, etc. We tracked to 2" tape. I wish we would have had more time to do some overdubs with all of the organs, Fender Rhodes, piano and other goodies they had, but this was done 100% live, mixed and mastered in 4 hours. The Fuzz Sound is on the solo at the very beginning of "Maybe Baby" and then again on the second verse just playing the chords. The only pedal I used on "Concerning Your Memoirs" was the Rangemaster side of the Basic Audio Halo-Master, and only very briefly on the loud bursts on the verses. I played my CIJ Fender Jazzmaster through my Basic Audio recording amp. Nick, our other guitarist, played my '81 Gibson 335 through his Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.
There are wav and mp3 files included:

I wish I knew how to get the code to imbed the songs with that play/stop button right in this post. Can anyone point me in the right direction for that?

Hey Tim,
I think that upload function is only for images (2mb max). I've seen some other people include songs right in their posts with play/stop buttons, but I'm not sure how to do that.
