Was it a good party? Diwali is the big Indian celebration & 15 courses sounds like heaven.

It was class but it wasn't 15 courses like I thought.... You actually went and halped yourself to a hot buffet - there were 15 different dishes though and lots of free drink (and I mean free bottles of VOdka, Bacardi etc!!!).
My girlfriend and I were dragged up to dance (both sober) by a gentleman from the SIkh community and, let's put it this way, I didn't do my street cred any favours!!!!!

I'm surprised there was booze there. Sikhs are kind of against it usually but I s'pose they're more chilled out about it than some religions.

I live in Birmingham so there are about 5 awesome Indian Restaurants within walking distance. :-DSickle wrote:I love Indian food! There's only one place in town that makes it here and they suck!

I love Indian cuisine and a new restaurant just opened up 2 doors from my guitar shop. The food is good and the price is right, what more can a guy ask for?
