Real glad you managed to get one!
Hey Donovan - I wouldn't mind wagering that number 46 would resonate with it a tiny bit!!Sickle wrote:Totally.psycho*daisies wrote:...It does boggle the mind that this circuit was made in like 1966.
To my ears, the fuzz on this pedal is so rich and creamy, it kinda sounds like something the Big Muff circuit wanted to aspire to, but was never able to achieve, and that's saying a lot cause I'm a serious Big Muff fan.
Does that resonate with anyone else?
Big time, Sickle. I LOVE Big Muffs of all descriptions, but the Fuzzaround does sound like a more refined, even, high fidelity version of the BMP. The single string clarity with the Fuzzaround is just insane, it's like every single note is a song all of it's own. It's pretty special!!Sickle wrote:Totally.psycho*daisies wrote:...It does boggle the mind that this circuit was made in like 1966.

I was afraid to say it...but me too! As I was saying to a friend last night, the MH is the end alll and be all of fuzzes..Is it sacrilege to say I still prefer my Meathead though??!!!
Well put!!!MMG wrote:I was afraid to say it...but me too! As I was saying to a friend last night, the MH is the end alll and be all of fuzzes..Is it sacrilege to say I still prefer my Meathead though??!!!
it's over fourty years of fuzz rolled into one little enclosure.
Not to belabour the point, but the MH is David's ultimate original creation. It is my opinion that DAM could sell nothing but the Meathead and rule the world of fuzz. Again, jmho.
40 years of Fuzz ! Love of Meathead special bond not broke - take in earth at dying or give small child gift when breath go last timeMMG wrote:I was afraid to say it...but me too!
