Maybe I go a bit overboard for demo purposes, but fuck it I'm not really in to doing the ''Here's the pedal on half setting'' type demos. I much prefer to make mini tunes and try to showcase certain aspects of the pedals that way or simply not bother and just try to make something that's cool to listen to instead.Sk10 wrote:Sounds really good!
Although I think the clip is kinda "stuffed" to focus on the gain structure of the Grease Box...
The dano is a shit guitar really, but it has a cool sound and there's some ace variation in tone achievable via slight changes in picking position. When I first got it there were overhanging frets, the neck felt like a pencil and it slipped out of tune quite easily. You have to make it work for yah, but when it does, it's got it's own unique sound going on.smogfalls wrote: That Dano sounds really good... I've been wanting to pick one up for ages now. Would you say the reissues are good guitars generally?
Phillip, have you tried the Grease Box with a Les Paul? How does it handle humbuckers?
Cheers,
Xan :)
I sold my les paul cutom few months back. Got a Squier classic vibe tele as a replacement and haven't looked back since.
