I love messing with my Drag'n'Fly! It always plays so nice with other pedals. Today I was dickin' around with my beloved Menatone King of The Britains and I found a rather SICK combo! I had the boost of the KotB on driving the shit out of my '59 bassman clone (about 11:00) and the main channel off. I then kicked in The Fly for the hell of it and BAM instant fuzzy magic. I almost always run my Klon after my Fly (the Klon kicks up the mids a bit more) but this set up was similar only more open with sharper teeth. ...not quite a smooth as it is with the Klon (in a good way). I like 'em both! It's great to have options :)

it's not too thick or too aggresive... friendly and simple.

my settigns are . . 95% fuzz. 95% on volume.
and let the filter do the work and get various tones out of it.

Yea, I think the Filter is the key. I'm favouring 100% Vol 90% Fuzz, Filter according to mood/and/or guitar type

Just what I was wondering. less permanent than velcro -- what kind of board and how are they attached? Marks? The pedaltrain is strictly velcro though right?

I've been using my 'fly more and more lately - it always sounds good in the mix for me, and it cuts through the band really well. I use it on a multitude of songs, all with much happiness!

I finally got a hold of the ever elusive D*A*M Drag'n'Fly this morning. What a great pedal. I can see why these are so coveted and you rarely see them up for sale anywhere. And if they are, the usual asking prices are pretty high up there.
So many usable sounds. I especially like the med gain settings with the level at 2 o' clock, filter at around 2 o' clock and the attack knob at the 3 o' clock positions. Thank you, CitizenAudio and especially Dave and Linzi for making such an outstanding fuzz unit.

Just got my first Drag N Fly (thanks TigerD) and me thinks the world is going to be alright now. Used in conjunction with the Rooster..dayum. New school meets cool school tone...and that filter control from far left to far right. hot hell does that work a treat.

I've been using my Fly again alot lately, great fuzz!!!
