Re: New Candy Apple Red Rooster
I got my Rooster on Saturday, which was fast as hell getting here. the build was awesome, first thing I noticed was the killer black OC71!! I also love the compact size.
I have the boost set at max and the range is between 11 and 1. This, to me, is where it's at. I'd love to try this through a smaller amp. Through my TopHat Club Royale, it sounded great. Definitely needs the amp doing it's own thing already to get the dirt going, otherwise it just makes things a lot louder and fat. I have some hair going on with my amps currently at, and I dig that. If I roll down the MV it gets dirty, but I don't like to have the master volume rolled back! I love to feel the sound!

I PM'ed Jon when he posted these, and boughted it as soon as he said they were OC71s. I have a CV7112 RR and my Treboost+ has switchable NOS OC44/OC71 -- much prefer the sound of the OC71 in there.I am Incinerator wrote:I got my Rooster on Saturday, which was fast as hell getting here. the build was awesome, first thing I noticed was the killer black OC71!!
I was meaning to take some gutshots but it sounds so good I've been playing it since I got it -- haven't even popped it open yet.

These are perfect, what a great little box. I will post pics of the OC71 Rooster here soon, and some of the other new finds.
