Thanks Philip,
That's what I thought. I'm getting the feeling that transistor type really doesn't matter, as long as teh hands & ears of the Captain & the fair Miss Dirt are involved. Just getting excited. I've been on a quest for a Rooster for a bit & it has materialized. I figure there must be a reason they hardly come up.

some- times there's a man--I won't say a hee-ro, 'cause what's a hee-ro?--but sometimes there's a man.

I think there might only be 20:

Gloss Yellow: OC71
Satin Black: 5 OC42, 5 OC78
Psycho Lime: OC41
Candy Apple Red: OC71

I believe the earlier batch of Starlight Reds (270 - 279) have OC45s. Maybe 290-299 had 71s? Anyone have a Starlight Red Rooster w/ an OC71?

Yep, it was the best Rooster I had. It has OC42 or OC44 I guess.

Love that Dev, just saw that movie again recently.

I just got an AC128 Rooster, and I likes it a lot! Quietest treble booster I've ever used!

Quite, but super crunchy. Those AC128 RRs go all the way to 11.
