Tony McPhee died about a week ago, so I suppose it was only fitting for me to be brave and attempt to replace all fourteen electrolytics caps in my Add-a-sound. This thing also needed a new power plug, and the toggle switches weren't working smoothly because of a misalignment with the face plate. But we got there in the end, and the box actually works pretty well and sounds very fuzzy and chaotic!

The hardest part of the whole job was dismantling and reassembling the damn thing. It was a satisfying project to complete, and it gave me a lot more confidence in my slowly growing repair skills.
