please excuse my lack of knowledge on this, but what pedal is the fuzzrong based on? I know nothing about the history of this pedal and it's tone. thanks for any info. you guys,errrr,,, 'sickle' might have for me.

Yes, they're nice for the right thing. It certainly took me a long time to get used to it and it is still at the outer fringes of what I normally play. The group I am sitting in with this summer plays a lot of music in the Stooges genre so it comes in handy for that. That New MK II David built is the cats ass though, as far as I'm concerned.
