Based on my memory of demoing one of these when they first came out and having a greenie here just now, I'd say the grey is a bit smoother sounding than the green.

Cheers Philip thats what i hear from your clips betw the turquoise 2012 oc84n version and the greenie too. Certainly evident..this ‘archaic snarl’ in the greenie

I think the original greys were same internally as those turquoise MKIV's. Maybe this new run sounds a bit different.

Just put one through its paces before sending it out - Holy *%$***& ers !!!! What a great Tone Bender !!! Lovin the slight sparkle in the finish too !
