Damn man…amazing find!! Wild to think there’s still a pedal like this out there.

'Tis a labour of love! I'll continue to update it as and when more (interesting) info becomes available
Rather low! These Bulgin switches (which were seemingly only used by Sola Sound for a very limited time) have a terrible track record for survival. This one seems to cycle fine for now though, by some miracle...

Bravo, sir!! Just outstanding. Freakishly similar if not identical component wise to the Groundhogs MKI. Very interesting indeed.
I know a guy....he's local too.

Turned out that it just needed a little while to acclimitise. Philip told me to record a lil clip of it, so I agreed, but not before stealing one of his tunesThe Captain wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 11:22 am Bravo, sir!! Just outstanding. It's almost identical to the Groundhogs pedal, but this rust-bucket has the same 33k ohm resistor from the attack pot to ground as on the BI contest pedal, which I'd already suspected was the youngest known example from the 'Letraset' era. Since Gary seemed to have gone back to using the Hunts caps on even later models, I had previously assumed that the funky electrolytic caps in the Groundhogs pedal were replacements, so it was very funky to see the same ones here.
We've still not seen two MKI's that are exactly identical yet, and that includes this second original to have surfaced this year

That thing sounds crazy cool
And that other MKI looks sick as hell. Where’d that one surface at?
