Once we get to the point of building, a couple of hours. Does depends of the pedal though. Its all the other bits in between that eat up time.
My wife is an artist, and her standard reply to that question is "Well, I'm ## years old, so it took ## years"
I suspect you're pretty much in the same situation. It's not the 2 h of soldering that's key, it's the experience leading up to that point to create something worth having.

This is going to be a year of the meathead for me !!
I have been lax (and unlucky on ebay with the gorgeous pink and sparkly Meathead) that I haven't bought a Meathead in 2009. Still there is plenty of time to go and as I have versions from the last 5 years I shouldn't be too greedy Although as they all have their own endearing characteristics I couldn't really pick one favourite over another. Plus I wouldn't want to deal with their jealous sulks if they felt left out
Biggity Bam!. One day to go. I'll be sending the payment info and what-not out on Friday. I'll get some mo' pics up then also.
I will then be on top of outstanding emails and PM's. Sorry to you good people I've not gotten back to as yet. I know I've jabbered on about this before but I kinda find it tricky going from flat out soldering hour after hour to staring into a computer screen and trying to type any kind of logical sense. Not an excuse just how it is.
