1966-6 and then 4 more...
Bam! My year is now "officially" over! 47 1966's under our belts. Job done. Biggity Bam! woop woop! Only a matter weeks until 2009 and sanity is still present. Nice one.
So, the Black n Gold's x 6 plus 4 x GE loaded 1966's go up on the Evil that is tomorrow, Monday 8th 2008.
The Germanium models are dual SFT circuits. 1 SFT353 followed by a SFT317. The difference between this and a model with a OC76 under the hood is very subtle. A touch more choppy and buzzy if anything. I've been listening to a lot of Grand Funk if that helps.
All times are GMT.
3.30pm 2 x Silicon 1966/ 1 x Germanium 1966
6.30pm 2 x Silicon 1966/ 1 x Germanium 1966
9.30pm 2 x Silicon 1966/ 2 x Germanium 1966
I have spread em out as much as I could given the small numbers going up.

Nice, hey we both own that Monkees album... maybe that'll bring me the requisite luck.

The Monkees. The band that the Beatles wished they could have been.kb892 wrote:Nice, hey we both own that Monkees album... maybe that'll bring me the requisite luck.

Another closet Monkees fan. The guy who taught me my first chords auditioned for the Monkees. He is a popular blues player in Germany. Check him out.. his name is Dale King and he is really good.
For any Monkees haters just listen to Valleri, the guitar work is pure bliss and shredlike. (Yeah, I know studio musicians but who cares..)

A youtube of Dale on German t.v. in 1982 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktlPqedUeHI

Hey Cap'n, will the auction titles clearly distinguish between the two different transistor types? I know how fast these things go and one has to make snap decisions to have any chance at winning.

I was gonna go for Silicon 1966, but I am going to aim for "1966 Monkees ver.", sound like a winner to me.
Good luck everyone !!
