Re: D*A*M Fuzzaround
Oh yeah, there are 3 x prototypes.
1. 00000. (thats how its numbered ) Socketed test pedal, MKII sized box, has a dinosaur drawn on it?! I'll take a pic sometime.
2. "The Destroyer of Worlds" Construction style and sound test pedal. The really big fucker.
3. Un-built test pedal. The big box one going on the Bay. Numbered 1 of 1. Was supposed to be made as a counter objective the tag board build technique but I settled on the tag board route pretty early on so had no need to make the stripboard version of the Fuzzaround prior to making the pedals for the project.
Edit: Numbered so it makes sense

Phew, I was worried for a moment as I thought it was Big Black that linked all of the Fuzzarounds together. If that got in the wrong hands (say of an evil, twisted genius) then we would all be in trouble.....The Captain wrote: Nah I'm auctioning off the big but not so big triangle knob layout Fuzzaround...piccy in the Direct section.

Such talk in the open is of danger - the abomination is prowling seeking to weaken the chosen few!the_original_mr_nice wrote:Sickle wrote:You're auctioning off Big Black?!Phew, I was worried for a moment as I thought it was Big Black that linked all of the Fuzzarounds together. Shit, dude(s)...
I've been playing my fuzzaround all freakin' day and I gotta' say... easily my favourite fuzz...
You can get *SO* many different tones and each and every one sounds UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE.
I know I said it before, but I'll say it again... Cap'n... you're a bloody fucking genius. For serious, meng.
I'm recording some stuff now and am using the fuzzaround on a bunch of shyte, so maybe I'll post it sometime this weekend...
Rock on, my fuzzaround brotha's.

Re: D*A*M Fuzzaround
#38 arrived safe and sound today!!!!!
Dated 31-10-2008. Halloween is so appropriate. It is the scariest of all fuzzes.
I have played it twice today and I can not find the words to describe how rich in character this pedal is. With out a doubt the BEST, and I do mean BEST fuzz pedal ever. The variety of tone that can be found in this little device is is beyond description.
David and Linzi, thank you so much.
